West Park is Close to Downtown ABQ and the Zoo

West Park is a beautiful area of Albuquerque, just south of Old Town and right in the middle of the various BioParks. In fact, Tingley Beach is right up against West Park, as is the Rio Grande River. The Albuquerque Country Club takes up the most area in this neighborhood, but there are several other businesses on the northern end West Park. Here are some of the highlights.

Event Center in Albuquerque | West Park

Picture of El Vado Event Center 2500 Central Ave SW, Albuquerque, NM 87105The El Vado Event Center is a hotspot in West Park with its fun decor, amazing rooms, and beautiful event space. It’s a motel and an event center, so it’s a great place for weddings, birthday parties, and professional events. And while the world “motel” usually makes you think of a cheap, less-than-beautiful place that you’d rather not stay in, the El Vado Motel is anything but that! It harnesses all of the magic of being on Historic Route 66, with all of the retro vibes and unique decor. One Google reviewer, Lissel S., shared,

“We stayed five days and had a great time… Their rooms are very nice and clean. They have a good size pool and a great outdoor area to hang out, and also, they have restaurants just outside the gate so very convenient. And the aquarium and botanical gardens are just across the street and Old Town is just 5 minutes away or 20 minutes if you decide to walk. Really nice area for vacation. The staff was so polite, friendly, and helpful with any questions we asked.”

Air Purifiers and Ozonators for Albuquerque Homes and Businesses

For those concerned with the indoor air quality of their home or workplaces, there are other solutions as well. Ask the team at Bosque about UV lights that improve the air quality of a space, and also the option to install an Ozonator. These machines put a safe percentage of ozone into the air in your home or business to help purify the air.

I live in a new home in Stinson Tower. Why would I need to worry about the indoor air quality?

It is counterintuitive, but actually new homes are full of potential toxins that seep out of building materials like flooring and paint. In fact, your indoor air quality isn’t “pure” unless you take actions to make it so. Without any air purification steps, the air outside is much cleaner than the air in your home.
