Taylor Ranch Backs to National Monument, Close to Los Ranchos de Albuquerque

Taylor Ranch is one of the furthest neighborhoods to the northwest in Albuquerque, just on the north side of the Petroglyph National Monument. The park’s Visitor Center is also very close to Taylor Ranch. Unlike the neighborhoods closer to the city center, Taylor Ranch is not built on a grid system. Residential roads curve here and there, and line the natural landscape. Taylor Ranch has many lovely homes, schools, and easy access to the great outdoors.

Taylor Ranch has a unique theater—Flix Brewhouse. This movie theater offers a full menu of food, including burgers and pizza, and an entire operating brewery with all of its own unique brews. There is not much better than watching a movie in a luxurious theater with some restaurant-quality food and delicious craft brews. One Google reviewer, Liam O., shared,

“Wonderful place! Great food. You can get drinks, food, snacks, and more. The entire experience is the best. I have a rewards program that’s through the roof because of how amazing it is.”

There are several parks in Taylor Ranch for families and individuals to enjoy. One unique park is the trails at Boca Negra Canyon—one of the arms of the national monument that reaches into the neighborhood. The trails provide access to petroglyphs from ancient peoples.

A park that is more kid-friendly in Taylor Ranch is Mariposa Basin Park. This park not only has a playground and little league fields, but it has many trails and ponds designed for bird watchers. This park offers a lovely preserves patch of land in the middle of a suburban neighborhood.
