Alvarado Park Offers Mature Trees, Several Parks

Alvarado Park is a neighborhood just to the south of I-40 in Southeast Albuquerque. It’s centrally located between the University of New Mexico and the Expo/Fairgrounds. And, it has many local hot spots in its own right. Here are a few of them.

Best Parks in Alvarado Park

Of course, it’s a no-brainer that Alvarado Park would be one of the best parks in the neighborhood named after it. This park offers beautiful, mature trees, grassy open space, and a playground for neighborhood members. The neighborhood is an HOA-enforced neighborhood, so technically, you need to be a neighborhood resident to enjoy this park.

Another park in the neighborhood is the Workers Memorial Park. There’s not a lot to this park, other than some open space, a plaque honoring workers who have been injured or killed on the job, and a unique orange sculpture. There’s not much to do but it’s worth a rendezvous if you’re already out.

Best Auto Repair Shop in Albuquerque

Alvarado Park is home to one of the best auto repair shops in the city—Rick’s Auto Repair Shop. Rick’s Auto Repair Shop offers a wide variety of services from brake repair to engine rebuilding and transmission repair. They specialize in Honda and Acura, but also service most Asian and some German cars too. One Google reviewer, Kimberley C., shared,

“My family has been taking our cars to Rick’s Auto Repair for longer than I’ve been alive. We appreciate how friendly they always are, plus we can always count on them to be honest, reasonable, and fair. It’s a small shop so certain things may take a little longer than at some other places, but I never have to worry that I’m being duped or paying more than I should for the services I’m requesting.”

Can’t really ask for a better review than that!

How will I know if it’s cost-effective to switch to AC from my swamp cooler in my Silver Hill home?

Unlike some of our competitors, we don’t have salespeople come to your home or business to do an estimate. For Albuquerque swamp cooler conversions, we send our trained technicians (the same people who will actually do the install) who know exactly what to look for when it comes to duct size, the layout of the home or business, current electric panel, and cost per square foot so we can determine the right move for you.

Why choose Bosque Heating and Cooling to do your Albuquerque air conditioning install?

We’ve been working in the region for 55 years and we care about finding innovative solutions for each customer. We know what works in Rio Rancho doesn’t necessarily work in Taylor Ranch. And what works in Taylor Ranch might not work in Silver Hill. We know and care about this community and we care about finding you the most cost-effective solution for your situation.
