Linda Vista is a neighborhood in Northwest Albuquerque that has a lot of residential areas as well as many local businesses. Linda Vista means “pretty view” in English, and this is certainly true with a view of the beautiful Sandia Mountains in the east. Here are some of the highlights of the neighborhood.

Linda Vista has a lot of fast-food restaurants in it, mostly on one of the main roads on the west side of the neighborhood—4th St Northwest. On 4th Street, you can find Mario’s Pizzeria, Little Caesars, Dunkin Donuts, McDonald’s, Piñon Coffee House, and KFC. While you probably know something about the national chains, it’s worth highlighting Piñon Coffee House because it is a local treasure.
New Mexico Piñon Coffee is a nationally beloved brand that started right here in New Mexico in 1994 and has become the largest manufacturer of coffee beans in New Mexico. What sets them apart? They roast their coffee beans with roasted piñon pine nuts. The result is a genuine Southwest flavor people love. And, here in Albuquerque, we’re lucky enough to have a few Piñon Coffee Houses here in town that serve up many of their excellent brews and treats, including the one here in Linda Vista.
